Favorite places in the region: Basil Restaurant, watching the Thai chefs at work. The Wreck on Shem Creek, where my kids love the boiled peanuts and stone crab claws. Downtown, by bicycle rickshaw. Price's Inlet, overnight on someone else's mooring. My Dad's secret fishing spot, and reaching the 200-foot line offshore.
Favorite places outside the region: Diving for starfish off Tahiti Beach; celebrating birthdays in the Crystal Room at Tavern on the Green.
