The Shed is Chic

THE SHED
Finally the shed is getting some love.  These humble outbuildings have been long overlooked, utilized to house clutter and the unwanted, and have been a mere depository for the overflow and ugly aspects of life (and spiders).

Well the tables have turned and sheds are serving as focused spaces for hobbies, entertaining, and as mini retreats for homeowners.  Pub sheds and she sheds are two trends on the radar.  But don’t forgot about the traditional uses, such as, gardening sheds, workshops, and an organized space to house the tools of modern living.

However you choose to use the extra forgotten square footage on your property, think about how often you really use the accumulated clutter that has landed in your shed and remember to dream big.  Maybe your new studio, man cave, or playhouse is just a few steps from your back door and begging for a little attention.

Shed a little light on your forgotten space and if you are looking for a space to create your own shed-spiration, check out 4176 Ten Shillings in Charleston’s Poplar Grove. Click here to learn more.
