The SEWE Social Scene
Jan 21, 2016 • By Places Real Estate • 0 Comments
Charleston welcomes visitors from all over the world every February for the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, aka SEWE. SEWE is a celebration of wildlife and nature through fine art, conservation education, sporting demonstrations, food, drink, and the people who honor them all.
SEWE offers a glimpse into everything from the gear to gowns, dogs to fine dining, and conversation to pure recreation. But a good bit of the fun is just getting out on the scene and rubbing elbows with fellow nature lovers in a festive and celebratory weekend chockfull of all things wild.
Be sure to venture out on the scene and join in the merriment of a few of the social gatherings during SEWE running from February 11th to the 14th. Dress up and join in the VIP Preview Gala on Thursday, offering first access to amazing art from across the country and a night of refined revelry. Friday night has two opportunities – not just for the birds, the casual Ducks Unlimited Oyster Roast and cocktails at the South Carolina Waterfowl Association Sportsman’s Ball. Saturday serves up the South Carolina Waterfowl Association Annual Duck Shuck Oyster Roast and the famed SEWE Soiree downtown at the Bus Shed.
