That’s a Lot of Chopsticks – 34 George Street Bought by COC

Jun 05, 2008 • By Places Real Estate • 0 Comments

The College of Charleston recently purchased an old Chinese restaurant in Downtown from a group headed by Anthony McAlister for $3.451M or about $211 a square foot based on the land value only. McAlister purchased the property in 2003 for $2.975M. The College is planning on demolishing the building but hasn’t stated what the future holds for the parcel – but it sure isn’t more dumplings.
